Press Release on Seychelles officials training in India


Indian High Commission is pleased to announce that three Seychelles officials have been nominated by Government of Seychelles for various training programs in India.

i) Ms. Iouana Pillay, Secretary General, Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) for “11th Industrial Services Training Programme (ISTP)” organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), New Delhi, Government of India from 17-29 March 2019 under India-Africa Forum Summit-III.

ii) Ms. Alliette Rosa, Engineer at Seychelles Planning Authority for the Course on “Climate Resilient Housing Technologies” at National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad from 18 March to 14 April, 2019 under the ITEC Program.

iii) Mr. Peter Allisop, Seychelles Licencing Authority for the Course on “ Certificate Course in IT and Networking Skills” at NIIT Ltd. Gurugram from 18 March to 10 May, 2019 under the ITEC Program.

These training programs are a small part of the large array of programmes being run by the Government of India and implemented in Seychelles through High Commission of India to help in capacity building of various governmental and non-governmental institutions and individuals.

These will help in enhancing productivity, introducing new skills and applying new technologies in areas as diverse as Industrial Services, Rural Development, Low Cost Climate Resilient  Construction and Information Technology and Networking.  

All expenses on these officials training in India, including international airfare, internal travel, course fee, accommodation and living allowance will be borne by Government of India.
