Mr. Rohit Rathish is a career diplomat with nearly 20 years of experience of working in the Government of India. He has a B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from REC, Kozhikode, Kerala.

                  He has served in different capacities in the Indian Missions in Geneva, Port Louis, Kabul, San Francisco and Male. At MEA Headquarters, Mr. Rathish worked as Deputy Chief of Protocol (Ceremonial) and as Director & Joint Secretary (G20 Summits). He headed  MEA’s Developmental Partnership Administration -III Division and Rapid Response Cell from October 2023 until July 2025. He was accredited to the Republic of Seychelles as High Commissioner on 16 September 2025.

                  Mr. Rohit Rathish speaks English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and French.  He is married to Dr. Divya Panicker, a marine biologist and oceanographer. They have one daughter. He enjoys science podcasts, diving and hiking.
