High Commission of India celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga at Palais des Sports Indoor Stadium, Roche Caiman Sports Complex on Saturday, 21st June, 2025. The event was held under this year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, highlighting the integral connection between individual well-being and planetary harmony.

2.      Addressing the gathering, High Commissioner of India Mr. Kartik Pande spoke on the timeless benefits of yoga in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. He also commended the growing interest in yoga across Seychelles and the role it plays in strengthening people-to-people ties between India and Seychelles.

3.      The formal program was followed by a 45-minute yoga session based on the Common Yoga Protocol, led by experienced instructors Ms. Josette Ruiz, Mr. Steve Thelermont, and Ms. Minaxi Tank from the Vivekananda Yoga Club of the High Commission and the Yoga Association of Seychelles.

4.      The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 300 people from all age groups.
